PABLO ERMINY
Director - Producer - Cinematographer - Photographer - Editor - Musician.
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, and residing in the United States; Pablo began developing audiovisual stories at a very early age. An award winner filmmaker, graduated from the 'Miami International University of Arts and Design' (BFA. class of 2000), he has traveled all around the world studying and working in the areas of visual and sounds constructions. An outcast from the formula & conventional forms; and always searching & experimenting, his style falls constantly into a mutable genre. A multi-talented artist and producer, his experience range from directing, writing, and producing shows for television ( 'Rock Total' & 'La tribu', for Miami's Nueva Vida Visión TV "Tewa" / 'Con Sabor a Cacao' for Canal i - Venezuela ); to writing, producing, and conducting a top rated - film-radio show - : 'Aunque UD. no lo Vea', for La Cultural de Caracas 97.7 FM radio station; to participating in prestigious exhibits as a photographer and video artist in Europe and America ( 'numeral narrative: 1 through 9' ); to writing, directing, and photographing several celebrated documentaries ( '… and the following people', 'Hope' ), -latin grammy nominee- music videos ( 'Aire y Mar' - Claudio Corsi ), public announcements, tv spots, commercials, & showcases ( 'American Red Cross: Holiday Music Spectacular from Miami Beach 2000', 'Adamari López against breast cancer campaign for Yoplait' ), award winner shorts ( 'The Dying Sun', and 'experiment 219.77' ), and feature films; just to mention a few.
Former instructor of 'Cinematography' and ' Film Direction' for the Florida Film Institute, inc., and Co-founder & C.E. O. of the 'avant garde' production company and movement: the ars nova revolution, Pablo dedicates his career and talent to the development of new styles of storytelling by using 'cutting edge' audiovisual manifestos..
